Larry Fiesel 

Liaison: Estero Council of Community Leaders (ECCL), Horizon Council

Mr. Fiesel has been a resident of Estero since 2001, residing in Pelican Sound Golf & River Club, full time resident since 2012. Former hometown is Carmel, IN, where he was a member of the Mayor’s original Street Tree Committee that helped obtain the designation of Street Tree City. He was actively involved with the Carmel school system during the years his daughters were students, President of the high school Band Booster Board, 1985-1986.

Graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Architectural Engineering, 1964.

Thirty-three year member of Sertoma International.

Started working, while in high school in 1960, for a consulting engineer doing HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical design for commercial buildings. Was involved in the initial construction of Marco Island working for the developer, Mackle Brothers, 1966-1967

​

Started L. J. Fiesel Company in 1975, a manufacturer’s representative company, designing and selling HVAC, Sheet Metal, and associated products to commercial contractors within the State of Indiana. Some of the notable projects of involvement were The Hoosier Dome, original home of the Indianapolis Colts, Indianapolis Convention Center, Bankers Life Field House, home of the Indiana Pacers, Lucas Oil Stadium, current home of the Indianapolis Colts, numerous hospitals and educational facilities, projects at Purdue University, Indiana University, Ball State University and Indiana State University.

Actively involved within Pelican Sound, member of several committees, chairperson of Architectural Review Committee for four years, and member of team that oversaw construction of new Racquet Center and Golf Club expansion, 2017-2019.

Member of River Ridge Community Development District Board of Supervisors, November 2016-2020.

Larry and wife Mary have three daughters and eight grandchildren.
