Matt Caldwell
Will talk about Moving the Republican Party Forward!
Matt Caldwell is a passionate defender of our God-given Constitutional liberties. He believes in limited government, consistently advocates for term limits, and is a staunch defender of our right to keep and bear arms. A 7th generation Florida native whose family came to Micanopy in 1826, Matt Caldwell and his wife Yvonne are raising their daughter, Ava, in Lee County. Matt attended Florida Gulf Coast University, from which he received a degree in History. He works as a real estate appraiser and consultant with Maxwell, Hendry & Simmons in Fort Myers, having attained the highest state certification in his field and being qualified as an expert witness in multiple states and federal court. He is also a partner and consultant with TM Strategic Consulting. Matt was a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2010-2018, serving on and chairing several committees during his tenure, including tax policy, redistricting, insurance and banking, agriculture, natural resources and public lands, transportation and infrastructure, local, federal, and military affairs, & oversight of government operations, such as pensions & elections.Ray Sandelli
Lee Board of County Commissioners, District 3
will provide an update on District #3 initiatives
In August 2019, Ray Sandelli was appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to the Lee Board of County Commissioners, District 3, a seat vacated by the late Larry Kiker. In addition to his role as a Commissioner, he now also sits on the boards of the Port Authority, The Metropolitan Planning Organization, the Horizon Council, and is involved in various civic and charitable organizations.
Mr. Sandelli graduated from Monmouth University in New Jersey. He then served eight years of military service as a naval officer and aviator. While deployed aboard the USS Independence (CV-62), he completed two operational tours to the Mediterranean Sea participating in Sixth
Fleet operations during the 1973 Middle East War and the 1974 Cyprus conflict. Ray then reported to VT-86, at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida as an Advance Training Command Instructor. His final tour was as a member of the Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron, better known as the Blue Angels. Following his military service Ray joined CBRE, the world’s largest commercial services firm.
Mr. Sandelli held positions with the firm in Seattle, Cincinnati, and in 1995 he became the Senior Managing Director of the CBRE Tampa office. In 2000 he assumed responsibility for all operations in the firms Florida Region. He semi-retired to Southwest Florida in 2012 and serves
in an advisory capacity to CRE Consultants.
In November 2020, Ray was elected to serve on the Lee Board of County Commissioners representing District 3, which is comprised of unincorporated Lee County and the Village of Estero, Town of Fort Myers Beach and the City of Bonita Springs. Ray has been married to his wife Jan for 38 years and are the proud parents of three grown children
